The Middle Schoo
l Ministry at Rockland serves students from 6th to 8th grade. With weekly meetings on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, students begin to know who Christ is and how they can adjust to the pressures of being in a real world setting. Learning how Christ calls students to act and treat others, as well as love themselves, is one of the focuses of the Middle School Ministry!!
Monthly events and yearly Mission Trips are a way for students to put their faith into action in the world around them.

Confirmation 2011
Dear Confirmands & Parents:
Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 31:13 and 2 Peter 3:18 exhort believers in Jesus Christ to train our youth in the ways of the Lord. The confirmation class format is one of the most important and effective ways we meet this exhortation. Therefore, we are excited about our upcoming 2011-2012 Confirmation Class at Rockland Community Church.
This year's class will be led by Ed Lange and is open to all 8th grade (or above) youth who have yet to be confirmed. We will meet one hour a week for 21 sessions on Sunday mornings in the Senior High room from 11:00-12:00. Our starting date is Sunday, October 2, 2011 and Confirmation Sunday will occur on Sunday May 20, 2012. On Sunday October 9th we shall have a parent-8th grade introductory light-lunch class to explain what confirmation is all about. In addition, our 3rd annual Confirmation Retreat is scheduled for January 20-22, 2012.

Mission Trip

Youth Sunday Practice
Please have your student join us Sunday, Feb. 26th from 12:30pm till 3:00pm for our second Youth Sunday practice. Lunch will be served!
